Great grapes give you the opportunity to make great wines; the distinct character of each Lepa Vida wine is sure to impress.

Vipava Valley, Slovenia

The lush Vipava Valley and its gently rolling hills sprinkled with vines and pretty villages straddles the Vipava River as it makes its way to the Adriatic. Situated between Italy’s Friuli region to the west and central Slovenia, the rich soil, mild sub-mediterranean climate and moderate rainfall make it ideal for growing stone fruits and cultivating wine. The vines are influenced in the warmer months by humid southwestern winds and in the winter by the cold and gusty “burja”, northeastern winds.
